Hanagene is an innovation-driven biotechnology company specializing in In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) and life science technologies. Established in 2021, the company was founded with the mission of advancing laboratory diagnostics through innovative solutions that enhance healthcare quality and improve patient outcomes.

Driven by scientific expertise, continuous innovation, sustained research and development, and the advancement of locally developed technologies, Hanagene designs, develops, and manufactures advanced diagnostic products and technology platforms to address the evolving needs of modern healthcare systems.

Hanagene was established upon more than 25 years of experience, technical expertise, and operational infrastructure developed within the Eram Teb Group. Since 2014, Eram Teb has been actively engaged in the importation, distribution, and technical support of In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) products, building long-standing collaborations with leading international manufacturers and suppliers. Through these partnerships, the organization has developed an in-depth understanding of the Iranian laboratory diagnostics market, customer requirements, and the technical and regulatory landscape of the IVD industry. This valuable experience, combined with Hanagene's independent, innovation-driven approach, laid the foundation for a specialized diagnostics company committed to developing innovative solutions, addressing the evolving needs of healthcare systems, and creating sustainable value for clinical laboratories and healthcare professionals.

Hanagene's research, development, and manufacturing capabilities are organized across two specialized facilities located in Alborz and Markazi provinces of Iran. The Alborz facility focuses on the development and manufacturing of Point-of-Care Testing (POCT) solutions and rapid diagnostic products, while the Markazi facility is dedicated to molecular diagnostic technologies and product development. This specialized infrastructure enables the parallel advancement of multiple diagnostic platforms, accelerates innovation, and strengthens Hanagene's ability to address the diverse needs of both domestic and international markets.

Hanagene develops its products and solutions across a broad portfolio of diagnostic technologies. Lateral Flow Immunoassay (LFIA) and Molecular Diagnostics currently represent the company's core technology platforms. At the same time, Hanagene continues to invest strategically in next-generation diagnostic technologies, including fluorescence-based detection systems, microfluidic platforms, advanced molecular technologies, and other emerging diagnostic innovations. This technology-driven approach enables the company to deliver diagnostic solutions that are accurate, rapid, reliable, and designed to meet the future needs of healthcare.

Quality and reliability are fundamental principles that guide every aspect of Hanagene's operations. All activities encompassing product design, research and development, manufacturing, and quality control are conducted within a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) and in accordance with internationally recognized standards, including ISO 13485 and ISO 9001. Product Lot Release testing is performed under the supervision of the Iranian Ministry of Health (MOH) and within the framework of applicable national regulatory protocols. Continuous quality improvement, rigorous process controls, and compliance with technical and regulatory requirements ensure that Hanagene consistently delivers products that meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance for both domestic and international markets.
